Pike Brothers have made this vest with the super heavy „Deutschleder“. A 100% cotton fabric which has its origins in the German work wear industry of the early 1900s. „Hamburg Blue“ was typical in the area of Hamburg and was the traditional color combination of navy yard workers. With a fabric weight of 600 grams per square meter, it is even heavier than our Elephant Skin. Coming from the same fabric family it offers a superb durability and long-lasting character even under heavy duty conditions.
