Die Roll-Up-Technik ist eine traditionelle Technik, die erstmals im 16. Jahrhundert verwendet wurde. Sie ist die gleiche, die auch für die berühmte Murrine verwendet wurde. Im Ofen werden einfache Stäbe aus farbigem Glas, die Josean wählt, zusammengefügt und da setzt sich der Künstler keine Grenzen.
