FROM BUHL 2016 Rosé Brut
Reichsrat of Buhl
+++ Noble, fine & animating ... +++
Red berries, rosehip and brioche in the nose. Creamy, fine-peared texture with fresh acidity and a long-lasting finish.
This rosé is a great soloist, but is also recommended for all dishes that also fit to a Pinot Noir.
Thanks to Mathieu Kauffmann's expertise - he was a master butcher at Champagne Bollinger from 2001-2012 - the Reichsrat von Buhl House created his own style and his own quality level: the grapes are selectively picked by hand. Only the first 50% of the pressure is used for the sparkling wine. This Rosé Saignée is made of 100% Pinot Noir grapes, partially fermented and matured in stainless steel and in double-barreled barrels (2.400l). No fining and only minimally sulfurized. Traditional bottle fermentation on the lees for 20 months.
