Details
This basket was made in southern India, in villages around the town of Karur
Groups of women made. The traditionally hand-woven plastic baskets are there
widely used since the late 1950s in large quantities for cladding
used by cables.
The basket is very light and robust. It is wonderfully suitable for the beach and the swimming pool, but of course also for shopping and many other occasions.
Dimensions: approx. 50 cm x 32 cm x 15 cm
The material, 100% PE, is completely recyclable.
The baskets bear the CRAFTMARK seal. This distinguishes traditional handicrafts in India
