Located in one of the oldest historical quarters of Lisbon, “Cerâmica Bairro Alto” is a unique, versatile and dynamic place, where a customer can participate in workshops, enjoy gallery exhibitions and purchase the unique pieces.

In 1998 it was acquired by ceramist Maria João Ribeiro, who modernized the shop while maintaining the characteristics of the old space.

Cerâmica Bairro Alto produces and sells unique pieces of contemporary ceramics, according to criteria of quality and originality, and partners with other artists, national and international stakeholders in the promotion and sale of their products.

Cerâmica Bairro Alto also offers courses and workshops in ceramics, porcelain and enamel.
