The "Jungpund" - if you want, in the Bruichladdich Rare Cask-Trio.
The - deliberately not peated - Malt initially rested in former
Oloroso sherry casks and became 2012 after its discovery
placed in selected Pedro Ximenez sherry casks.
The limited to 4,200 bottles of whiskey comes from the last
7 barrels of the 1986 distillation tranche and was without cooling filtration
and bottled without the addition of dye in cask strength.Nose: exquisite scent combination from its barrels,
fruity, raisins, figs and plums,
with interesting sand notes, dried apricots,
Tea leaves, tobacco and leather nuances.Palate: dense, dark texture, with sweet raisins,
dried figs, apples, apricots, dates,
again the leather and cigar notes and spicy Christmas cookies.Finish: extremely long reverberation with sweet fruits,
Caramel cream and a filigree smoky note. - Store Information
