With a 30 year old Bulas tawny like this one, the base wines are on average more than 30 years old and have also matured. Complexity with this charmer on your tongue is hard to beat. On the palate you will experience it unmistakably soft, almost creamy, yet intense and concentrated. In fact, this is a real treat and we had to try it for a long time - not a bad job either - before we decided we had never tried a better port. It left many big names and well-known wineries behind. Only once was a similarly good port able to inspire us, but then it was well into the three-digit range.
