Our name Kamellebüdchen is perhaps a bit confusing for all non-Rhinelanders:
Kamelle is the kölsche word for sweets. In Cologne Carnival, all the Jecken call out loud:
Kamelle!!! to get to the sweets which are thrown from the carnival floats.
And a “Büdchen” is a small shop or a cozy kiosk.
In our small candy shop in the heart of Cologne's old town, we offer traditional sweets in all colors and flavors.
We also produce personalized candies for corporate events, weddings and any other occasion with your logo on request.
We also offer courses and workshops in Kamellebüdchen to all interested Zuckerschnuten.
