FEVER-TREE MEDITERRANEAN TONIC WATER

Tonic water is an originally British invention: the British colonial armies were supplied with the drink after 1820, whose regular consumption prevents malaria. This is made possible by the quinine content, which is extracted from the bark of the cinchona tree. Because of its aromatic, bitter taste, quinine is now a basic component of both tonic water and bitter lemon, both of which are standard equipment in cocktail bars.

Sparkling carbon dioxide and its diverse aromas of herbs and plants from the Mediterranean make it possible to drink it neat as well as in gin and tonics.
