The graphic pattern - Stella - was digitally embroidered on a hand-woven eco silk.
This comes from a fair trade project in India.

It has a naturally silky feel with a subtle sheen, is less smooth than ordinary silk and is obtained without the use of pesticides.
The silkworms are also given time out of their own
Kookons alive to hatch as butterflies.
