Claire and Arnaud, the French design friends founded their own brand “Origami Jewelry”, inspired by the beauty of Japanese creativity. The inspiration came during a night in the winter when their friend Masayuki Muraki taught them the typical Japanese folding handcraft. Because of the endless possibilities and the pleasure of creating new origami, the game took all night long. The creativity and the joy of trying out new shapes made Claire and Arnaud lose track of time. The idea of origami earrings was born. Their first collection was made of thread and paper and had its moment of beauty. Still it wasn't enough for the splendor of the Japanese shapes and called for the combination other materials like gold or silver. To produce the new collection the couple decided to go to Japan to look for manufacturers able to reproduce these fragile shapes. In January 2008, Claire and Arnaud introduced their first collection of jewelry with the model Tsuru®, the symbol of peace and joy in Japan. Then followed the rabbit, the deer, the triceratops... Les Français Claire et Arnaud, tous deux grands amis du design, ont fondé leur propre marque "Origami Jewelry", inspirée par la beauté de la créativité japonaise.

L'inspiration est venue pendant une nuit d'hiver quand son ami Masayuki Muraki leur a enseigné la technique de pliage japonaise typique. En raison des possibilités infinies et du plaisir de créer de nouveaux origamis, il a été expérimenté toute la nuit. La créativité et la joie d'essayer de nouvelles formes ont fait oublier à Claire et Arnaud le temps. L'idée des boucles d'oreilles en origami était née.

Sa première collection était encore faite de fil et de papier et avait son moment de beauté. Mais ce n'était pas assez pour mettre en valeur la splendeur des formes japonaises, et si rapidement d'autres matériaux tels que l'or ou l'argent ont été ajoutés. Pour produire la nouvelle collection, le couple a décidé d'aller au Japon et de trouver des fabricants capables de reproduire ces formes exactes.

En janvier 2008, Claire et Arnaud ont présenté leur première collection de bijoux, Tsuru®, symbole de la paix et de la joie au Japon. Cela a été suivi par le lapin, le cerf, le tricératops ...
