Seasonal calendar for fruit & vegetables in color

The seasonal calendar shows 64 images of the most popular types of fruit, vegetables and lettuce in Central Europe. The legend not only tells you when which fruit and vegetable is in season, but also the optimal storage temperature.

Better taste and usually a higher proportion of vitamins and nutrients are just a few of the many good reasons for orienting yourself towards the seasonal calendar. Lower water consumption, less CO2 and the promotion of regional agriculture also speak in favor of conscious seasonal enjoyment. But all of this is related to knowledge. That was exactly what was decisive for our seasonal calendar: Simply learn and live better with a clear design.

A timeless design and the permanent validity of the calendar bring design and sustainability into harmony in an uncomplicated way. For the seasonal calendar, the illustrator Francesca Mailandt created drawings in the classic style of copperplate engraving. Francesca is a lecturer in illustration and works at the illustrators Trifolium. Julius Teske was responsible for the concept and Funs Kurstjens for the design.

In the production of our seasonal calendar, too, we made sure to meet our demand for resource-saving and sustainable production. For printing, we use RecyStar Polar offset paper with a matt, uncoated surface, made from 100% recycled fibers and certified with the Blue Angel. By using the Kniffpak shipping tubes, we do without plastic lids and our stickers are vegan.
