After the first personal encounter between Goethe and the married Charlotte von Stein in the winter of 1775 in Weimar, a regular correspondence begins from house to house. From the beginning Goethe was magically attracted to the woman, who was seven years his senior. From Charlotte we know that she is not at first impressed by the appearance and activities of the admired poet. Even without this biographical context, the epistolary poem is a unique literary work of art. Unlike other poems sent to Charlotte von Stein, Goethe did not publish it during his lifetime because of its intimate nature.

Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, Letter poem to Charlotte von Stein, April 14, 1776
Facsimile with transcription and commentary by Eva Beck and Edith Nahler.
The manuscript is kept in the Goethe and Schiller Archives in Weimar.
Friends of the Goethe and Schiller Archive, 2016

The facsimile is printed in original format ribbed on Conqueror (80 / m2).
The delivery takes place in a high-quality protection folder.

For example, Weimar has more than 11 UNESCO World Heritage sites, which are maintained by the Klassik Stiftung Weimar and made accessible to the public.

The Klassik Shop Weimar is actually more than just one: We run all the museum shops for Klassik Stiftung Weimar, e.g. in the historic homes of Goethe and Schiller, in the Anna Amalia Library, and we also take care of the assortments in the museums of e.g. Liszt, Nietzsche and in the castles and parks of the city and its surroundings.
