Did the good Palatinate winemaker Christian Nett think that his heartbeat wine would be a box-office hit on the days before Valentine's Day? We ourselves in our wine shop in Wuppertal found him exciting from the first sip and fell in love with him. Up to now we hadn't known that a German winemaker would dare to try the classic Bordeaux mixture of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. But Christian Nett was enfant terrible long enough - at the age of just over thirty, he has already got it behind him - of the Palatinate wine scene that he was familiar with many experiments. With his heartbeat, however, he has long since left the stage of strenuous experiments and presents all lovers and especially the wine freaks a juicy, harmonious red wine. A bit of toasted aromas are also there and reveal the aging in fresh oak barrels. Deeply dark berry fruits rock the palate down and if you pay close attention, the wine also makes the peacock wheel for you!
