Since 2009 Lina Valdés, founder and designer of DEVALDES, connects German design and Colombian craftsmanship to form unique desk accessories and bags for all those who love beautiful things, appreciate good design, and place great value on quality.

In addition to the leather design DEVALDES also offers a wide range of exclusive and individualized event papeterie.

In her showroom in Darmstadt, leather and paper design are combined on a retail space and offer customers a visual and haptic experience. Soft leather, bright colors, gram heavy papers, unusual formats and elaborate designs.

Our products of high quality suede and nappa leather are manufactured in our own factory in Medellín/ Colombia. We take care to act as sustainable as possible. 

Our leather supplier has been certified by the Colombian Ministry of the Environment, we work exclusively with green electricity and recyclable packaging. 

Besides, our products are all handmade. This significantly reduces the energy and waste to a minimum.

With the opening of the factory, we have created a social women's project. We work exclusively with women, who are dependent on the work due to difficult social conditions in order to care for their families. 

We offer flexible schedules and the opportunity to work from home and we pay above the statutory minimum wage in the country.

At our store you won’t find mass-produced goods, because we only produce in small series. Due to the handmade and special structure of the leather each piece is unique.
