Hand woven on a traditional loom with wool from local endemic breed of sheep called Ruda.
"Bereket" in ancient kilim design is the symbol of fertility because of it's portrays the female womb. It was usually applied, along with other wishful symbols, in the kilims that were given to the newly weds, to wish them numerous and healthy offsprings.
Ariee products are following a centuries old tradition of textile weaving in Albania. We do not treat the wool chemically and use EU approved dyes.
This product can be custom made. You can order this product in the size and color of your choice. Please keep in mind that with all handmade products, may vary slightly from product to product. All our rugs and kilims are available with or without fringes.

Care: Vacuum Regularly. Remove spills immediately. Professionally clean only (Usually no more than once or twice a year).Allow us to deliver from 3 to 5 weeks for the completion of a custom made kilim.
