A specialty from the Merkle winery in Württemberg! The mash fermentation takes place at 25 degrees in order to preserve the trollinger's aromatic substances, which are very susceptible to oxidation. With the steep slopes Trollinger, we are introducing a wine of this grape variety that finally shows the full quality of this grape. For too long it was only understood as house or drinking wine. Always had to serve when a cheap cider had to please the throats of the drinkers. But it can do a lot more. However, it belongs to the lighter, more delicate wines, but you don't just have to develop them for maximum drinking flow. If you put the drinking pleasure in the foreground, as here at Merkle, the Trollinger reveals itself as an incredibly juicy wine with a scent of wild cherries. But it also retains its great class as an ideal companion for meals. A specialty of the Merkle winery is the use of wild yeast from its own vineyard.
