The TESCH Rosé from the blue Spätburgunder grape is the little brother of DEEP BLUE - also typical Pinot Noir ! Somewhat more robust, significantly more color and full strawberry and raspberry flavors. An uncomplicated rosé wine for a cozy barbecue with spare ribs and corn on the cob.
Information about the winery: In the 10th generation, Dr. Ing. Martin Tesch since 1997 the winery. The PhD biochemist has ordered the traditional company a complete reorientation: The acreage was almost halved, from about 30 ha to 16 ha, in order to lay, by his linguistic thinking, the focus on quality. Only the best vineyards are cultivated on which almost exclusively Riesling is grown: Rothenberg, Krone, Löhrer Berg, Königsschild, Karthäuser and St. Remigiusberg. Meanwhile, the acreage has grown again to about 20 ha, a small part of white and Pinot Noir complete the vine offer.
Dr. Martin Tesch combines traditional artisan viticulture (including all pure hand-picked) with innovative approaches.
Against the trend he created z. B. with RIESLING UNPLUGGED® an absolutely puristic, durchgegorenen cult wine.
The fresh brand appearance of the winery inspires not only the customers. TESCH was the first winery ever to receive one of the coveted Red Dot Awards for its corporate design. He also made the screw cap sociable.
Meanwhile, Martin Tesch has an international reputation, and among the winemakers one of the rockers, has the penchant for rock music and already worked together with the Toten Hosen. The Riesling Weißes Rauschen (since 2009), made especially for the pants, is now released for the trade with the 2018 vintage (The pants are now making an old beer with Uerige). Absolute world fame has now reached the Unplugged Riesling, for which there is a compiled by Martin Tesch music playlist on Spotify.
In 2012, Dr. Martin Tesch voted winemaker of the year.
