A Pinot Noir from the new, more palatable line "T" by Martin Tesch.
Wonderful fruit and burgundy aromas, paired with the well-known crisp minerality of the Tesch wines. With a little more residual sugar, this Pinot Noir is also great fun in summer, slightly chilled, on the terrace, just for barbecuing or just like that.
Information about the winery: In the 10th generation, Dr. Martin Tesch the winery since 1997. The biochemist with a doctorate has ordered the traditional company to completely realign: The acreage has been almost halved, from approx. 30 hectares to 16 hectares, in order to focus on quality due to his position-based thinking. Only the best locations are cultivated, on which Riesling is almost exclusively grown: Rothenberg, Krone, Löhrer Berg, Königsschild, Karthäuser and St. Remigiusberg.
Dr. Martin Tesch combines traditional artisanal viticulture (including everything purely by hand) with innovative approaches.
Against the trend, he created z. B. with RIESLING UNPLUGGED® an absolutely puristic, fermented cult wine.
The winery's fresh brand image not only inspires customers. TESCH was the first winery ever to receive one of the coveted Red Dot Awards for its corporate design. He also made the screw cap socially acceptable.
Martin Tesch now has an international reputation, and is one of the rockers among the winegrowers, has a penchant for rock music and has already worked with the Toten Hosen. The Riesling Weißes Rauschen (made since 2009), which has been specially made for the trousers, has now been released for trade with the 2018 vintage (the trousers are now making an old beer with Uerige). Unplugged Riesling has now achieved absolute world fame, for which there is also a music playlist compiled by Martin Tesch on Spotify.
2012 Dr. Martin Tesch voted winemaker of the year.
