Moor Impression 76 cm x 46 cm x 1,8cm, acrylic, screenprint on streched canvas.
The atmosphere of the moor is represented by opaque and transparent layers of acrylic paint. The layers of the moor in green, brown and turquoise symbolize the landscape between water and dry land. Diverse larger and smaller moorland dwellers such as the water bat, the common blue butterfly, the dragonfly, the snipe and the moor frog populate the multifaceted habitat. They are partly transparent, partly opaque screen printed. The cranes fly over a drawn and printed moorland landscape with dead trees and sedges. Representatives of the fauna of the moor such as the sundew printed in red and the orchid printed in yellow form the foreground of the moor community. - Store Information

Hamburg impressions and maritime art painted by Hamburg based artist Meike Kohls. You can buy original art, acrylics, screenprints, collages on wood, canvas, metal or recycling material directly in the studio. coffee mugs with amusing figures. The design has two sides, so you can view the front and the back of the figures. Since 20 years you can buy sexy Christmas Ladies in a limited greeting card edition.
My studio is always open to visitors. Every Wednesday between 15 - 18:30 o' clock, I will be definitly there. Otherwise just call me and tell me, when you would like to visit the studio.
